Methodology

Interactive

At LXMATH we teach our students to interact and manipulate concrete objects, which allows them to understand abstract concepts in the future.

Differentiated

At LXMATH, more important than the student getting an A is that they have fun while learning.  For this to happen, it is necessary that each class be personalized to the student.

Structured

The whole process, from the first evaluation, is regulated by internal evaluations in order to ensure the best quality in all classes.

Cognitive Behavioral Assessment

The first LXMATH assessment aims to understand how the student thinks. In this assessment, a set of tests will be done to evaluate the student’s ability to work under stress, their Creativity, Abstract Thinking, and Problem Solving skills.

In order to personalize the continuous lessons, an open-ended questionnaire will be given in order to understand the student’s Preferences.

Quantitative Assessment

This second assessment consists of an analysis of the required curricular skills from the previous or current year. After this evaluation, parents will receive a report with the curriculum goals that the student has achieved.

Continuous Lessons

LKProgram

In the LearnKnowTeach program each student will be paired with a younger student, with the goal of promoting in the older student the ability to explain abstract reasoning, and in the younger student cooperation and exposure of doubts.

Hyper-Interactive class

In this Bimonthly class the student will experience the discipline in a different way, because in real life not everything is done behind a desk.

Monotoring

In order for our students to perform at their best, LXMATH provides:

  • 2 internal exams per term
  • Homework registration
  • 1 weekly meeting with the principal
  • Pedagogical report
